The All-New Mini-Highbay

The All-New Mini-Highbay

Well, I saw this cool glass shade at the ReStore that looked just like a high bay glass, just on a smaller scale, so I searched around for a fixture that it would mount too. I found a gooseneck wall mount fixture that was missing its globe that this glass happily fits onto. So I bought the gooseneck fixture and took it home, took it apart, and used the wall-mount plate and the collar to attach the glass shade and Put them together with a threaded tube. Then I painted the section to match the gray junction box pieces. I'm happy with how it turned out, but it sorta just looked like a ceiling mount fixture with a bunch of junction boxes attached to it instead of an entirely homemade fixture.

Thanks guys! Yeah I love glass high bays too. I actually have six high bays (Holophane Prismalumes) but they don't have ballasts since they were 277V so I took them out. I need to find five 350W PSMH ballasts and one 400W MH/MV ballast.

This is 35W HPS BTW.

Thanks! This was just temporary though, it's gone back to the bucket reflector.
