[Video] Vintage Philips PL set (1991) with very old PL (1981) tube

Today I got two of these old PL conversion kits Made in Austria, They work very nice and make also no noise even on my 230 V inverter (modified sine wave) where all the Philips SL make a noticeable buzzing noise.

Here in Israel, Eltam Ein-Hashofet also produces these ballasts with lamp holders, for external ballasted CFLs: http://www.eltam-eh.com/Products/InnerInner_CFL_5W_26W_wLH/Ballasts_w-Lamp_Holder

Interesting that it's branded Philips and is obviously a Tridonic choke. I've got a few of these made by Vossloh-Schwabe for both 11w PL-S and 18w PL-C lamps. Handy things to have for converting all sorts of things to non-intregrated cfl's.
