Here I present the layout of one of a pair of lamps with a lit base and a regular lamp shade. In order to operate both light sources individually this solution was chosen. The switches from the Italian manufacturer bTicino (Bassani Ticino, now part of Legrand) were available in three different types:
Interruttore: 1-way
Deviatore: 2-way
Pulsante: Push-to-make

Whenever possible I use bTicino. But only vintage, as these things were made to last. Domino (1950s) or Serie 1400, and newly Magic (an icon!). I quite a fellow collector from Italy: Tutto doppo le anni 1980 รจ spazzatura. Right he is!
