Replacement Capacitor in the Wide-Lite

Of all the HID "Stuff" I have I don't have any capacitor brackets or a longer padded clamp so this "creation will do for now>
Actually, it's probably better than my original design since it keeps the cap farther away from the ballast !

How was the original capacitor installed? Or was it a NPF ballast?

Please check out my newly-updated website! McCann Lighting Company is where my street light collection is displayed in detail.

The original Wide-lite cap was potted in tar along with the original ballast. I spent most of a weekend digging out tar and eventually the cap and fried ballast and then another evening cleaning the residual mess out with lacquer thinner and a scotch-brite. WHAT A NASTY MESS !. This ballast and cap came from a 1Kw high-bay from work .
