I know only about Macs that runs Windows in additional to Mac OS X. Not about PCs that runs Mac OS X in additional to Windows or Linux.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

Nice desktop system Peter, I love windows 7 but I have doubts to using windows 8.

Long live the great old 20th century quality in electrical & lighting products!

Nice aluminum case. My (12 year) old home-build desktop had an aluminum case about that same size.

My trusty old laptop gave up the ghost this last fall, and I had to search and go a little over budget, but found a new one that came with Windows 7 on it.

Hi thanks for all your nice comments, my knowledge of pc is nil, a friend who is not interested in lamps sorted this one out, have 3 hard drives one each to boot up each system and a third for storage but will upgrade to ssd (solid state drive as too many abbreviations are used adding to my confusion)

Interested in the history of electric lighting and incandescent in particular and neon glow lamps.

A wise investment with the third hard drive for data storage, Peter.

I'll probably would plan on that on my next new computer toy project when I have enough money. My dream computer still eludes me with expensive dual Xeon processors, Intel system board, memory and computer case. They are all special order here

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

They're pretty much special order everywhere. Your best bet might be to get a rack server/pedestal server and migrate it. Servers are very cheap second hand normally

My buddy has a Asus gaming laptop that came with dual hard drives. The primary hard drive quickly failed. It was replaced under warranty, but he used the opportunity to throw in a (i think) 128GB SSD to use as his system drive. I think the replacement is still sitting on a shelf in a box from Asus. My new laptop doesn't have dual hard drive bays (I travel with it too much for that bulk) so I am pondering replacing the original 750GB hard drive with a 1TB hybrid drive.
