As requested in the comments below this pic , a pic of the computer I mentioned.

Processor is a Pentium III 450mhz
OS is Windows 98se

I added the green CCFL in back, and green lighted fan in front.
(when I originally got it(used/free), it was an incomplete system, I added what parts I needed to make a useable computer)

Nice.

I still have a Pentium-S 90MHz computer with 32MB(?) of RAM, sporting Windows NT 4.0 SP6. Keep it out of nostalgia, no use for such a snail - able to play MP3 only if the bitrate doesn't exceed some 192kbps. Can post a picture if anybody is interested.

What kind/version of browser do you use? Browsing the internet on W98SE must be pretty limiting. I'd rather recommend some recent version of a lightweight Linux distribution.

Not very happy with the current mess on this site.

@merc:
This has FireFox 2.something on it. Its fine for general stuff like this site & the various other forums I visit.
I also have a Win-7 laptop (got for nearly free - with a busted screen, so I connected a monitor & use it as a desktop) that I use for internet - like if I want to do any online shopping. And for stuff like YouTube.

Also have an old XP laptop, battery long since gone don't really use it much anymore (one of the few things I bought, and ofcourse it was on clearance).
Oh and I too have a Pentium-90 (previous owner overclocked it to 120 & I left it like that), another computer gotten free...that one I used mainly for playing music/MP3. Now it basically just sits there.

Nice! The oldest I have used (without internet) is a Pentium 4 on a computer thatt runs Windows XP.

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

Unfortunately, my parents won't let me hook it up to the internet because blah blah blah security issues.
