You look like some sort of inside detective from the old west!

Personally i think that all Lamp Bans are idiotic, the idea of telling us we cant use this lamp type just cause its less efficent is highly communist in nature...really what good is it going to do?

Does not look anything like a monkey! If you saw my ugly mug the screen would crack! Maybe I should put it up. (Actually it is on the internet, here...
http://theglobecollector.com/crew/ )
I am the centre with two couples on either side.

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

Fee, Fye, Fow, Fum, A dead man's eye and a parrot's BUM!

Unfortunately, Michael, this is not my web-page. I wish It were. It belongs to the two girls in the picture, Andrea Destrfano and her boyfriend Campbell Hynam-Smith on the left, (my right) and Summer DeRoche and her partner, Christian White on the right, (my left).
They made a short film about me and my collecting and this web-site is to promote their film.
If this were my web-site, it would be crammed with lamps, like James Hooker's. I do intend to get a web site up, hosted and going, but it is not an easy task. I have 3500 html pages I wrote on my hard drive, but getting it hosted is another thing. I have to think very carefully about a web-site layout, one which is easy to navigate.
Campbell is holding a Siemens Bros. 1936 MB/V 125, Andrea has a wire filled type 22 combustion flash lamp, I'm holding a CDM-TT 150 and a Philips Zinc Spectral Lamp, Summer has a Philips MA/V400 snd a G.E.C. MB/U 400 and Christian is holding a 32v, 500w 1925 Philips Projection lamp I got given by fellow collector from New South Wales, Fin Stewart.
The "avatar" picture to the left is also me, when I was 18 years old in 1982!
I have to agree with Pablo though, your look, the cool beard and mowie and that Tom Baker like hat, I'd trade my looks for this any time. We can swap birthdays too if you like, my next one is 49!
I just can't imagine you up in a "Cherry Picker" bucket changing lamps in streetlighting luminares in a hard hat. Most blokes here in Tasmania who do this, swig beer at the Pub every Friday and Saturday night and show a "Plunmer's Bum" if they have to bend down to low control gear in a column and barrak loudly for the "Western Bulldogs" A.F.L. Team!
You look heaps more refined that that!

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

@ Globe Collector; So I'm looking foreward to your own web page. You are having a great knowledge and wast collection
Of lights and bulbs and it's realy worth to share it with other peoples in the world. I'm 30 now and i'm collecting light and fixtures since my very early childhood. For the moment I'm not having a truck driving lisence but I'm going to do that now. So in the future I'll work more with our big Cherry picker as I'll be able to drive it.

Bold, proud pic. Nice.

We do not have to agree on anything to be kind to one another. The ability to be civil is available to everyone on earth, for free.
