If this was 40's, it would have no back wire and a matte black finish. If this was 60's, it would have a lighter red representing the 20 amp color. It would also have the old Hubbell logo on the front and the new Hubbell logo on the back or vice versa.

I know info for switches and receptacles from the 60's or before. I stopped collecting lights.

Also the patent number would be on one of the ears. I believe they never made it in the 40's.
