The LED backlit LCD display of the ticket machine at Motta Gur station of the Metronit, suddenly yellowed

When I wanted to validate my Rav-Kav smard card, I've noticed that the display of this LCD display of this machine displays yellow instead of white, as if the blue is missing and only the red and the green color being displayed.
What causing this?

My guess is either an issue with the LCD or the video chip is having issues.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

I would agree it is a issue with the driver. Not the backlight. Colour issues like this were much more common with CRT displays in the past
