Yes don't mind putting the odd telephone up from time to time. This shows a K-2500 desk set made a few years ago but is still working well. This model was use in areas that only had pulse dialing as apposed to tone so was only used for a short time during modernisation in The States so this must be rare now, plenty of tone models still excist and can be bought for not too much. The internals are interesting and more complicated then tone versions as it has to convert push button to Strowger pulses as would a rotary dial.

I'm not sure if it's the same model - but my CVS has a phone like this for the Moneygram service. Similar to the one I saw:

I collect exit signs, preferably vintage ones.

I also have a little bit of a thing for light bulbs, too. Of course, hoarding them due to the incandescent bulb ban.

Surely if it has star and hash buttons it will be DTMF..? Early push button phones here that were pulse only did not have those buttons.
