The air conditioner of my mother living room, during part of its periodic defrosting

The air conditioner of my mother living room, during part of its periodic defrosting

When I went to the balcony of my mother, to watch its A/C unit operating, suddenly I've heard a loud noise of a flowing refrigerant and the fan of the outdoor unit stopped, and then the compressor starting and the coils warming up while the suction lines freezing. As there was no ice on the coils before this was happened, I thought the air conditioner doing a periodic defrosting. So I decided to capture a video.
Video begins about 6-7 min after the defrosting began, and the whole suction line was frozen and the coils are hot. After 9-10 min, it switched back to heating.
This repeated itself a hour later, in which I have a second video of the second defrosting, from the moment it disconnected the heat pump. The A/C operated continuously without delays between these two defrost cycles, so I think that after a hour of a continuous operation, the defrosting cycle begins regardless of what are the conditions of the outdoor unit.
