Sweet! Lightning around here is rare and it's nice to see pics posted of it.

Nothing like the beautiful cool white light of a coated Mercury Vapor lamp and the soothing hum of it's magnetic ballast.

I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that bolt Wish we had lighting like that round here ... During the summer months it usually happens that the sky goes really black, the birds go quiet and it feels like an awesome storm is coming, then all we get is a few flickers, a dull boom or two and extreme rain which makes the sewers overflow. Rubbish!

See that weired discharge coming from the pylon across from the less brighter fork of the main flash?, thats either something on the film or some strange phenomena?
