Liam: How cycling HPS lamps, behaves with the original Tridonic anti-cycling ignitor? Is the ignitor gives up instantly when it see that the lamp is about to extingush for cycling or gives up after several cycling? And how it behaves during hot restrike (According to Tridonic website, It have a pulse-pause operation like Eltam ES-PI 1000, but how its works)?

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

So the ignitors inside most (If not all) of the Schreder Sepales we have in Qiryat Ata, are probably Tridonic as well.
But I've seen their hot restrike several times, either during cycling (If they let the lamp to do one cycle before giving up after the lamp extingushed secondly, or after power interruption). Several have their hot restrike looks like a regular superimposed ignitors, the one inside the left lantern in one of the videos I posted, flashing dimly while brightening, and several waits for 1-2 mins and hot restrikes with a behavior that reminds me some lights inside several pinball machines that I've played when I was a child (Stroboscoping for a short time, than staying lit at an orange SOX colour).

@Fluorfan, yes it was ok not much happened though. @Dor its possible because some of the Urbis Sintra 70w lanterns here have re branded standard Tridonic ignitors in.

Liam: I confirmed that these lanterns have Tridonic ZRM ES/CT anti-cycle ignitors (Superimposed), after seeing my old post somewhere in LG, that during a hot restrike that caused by manual switching or power outage, they ignites for 45 secs and waits for 2 mins (What was written in that time in Tridonic website about their pulse-pause operation), and during the recent power outage, except one Schreder Sepale, which hot restruck almost instantly, all the rest hot restruck after 2-3 mins. Also, today I captured this video , which I confirmed that during the cycle of the right lantern, it indeed gives up ignition attempts after 45 secs (The left lantern have a defective microcontroller, as its pulse-pause operation, done within secs ).

@Liam: I now understand why you hate the OEM Tridonic anit-cycle ignitor, that came originally in your Thorn Piazza: Today (1/3/2015), early in the morning, I've seen that the left Schreder Sepale at the fourth lamppost, don't working (It worked yesterday [28/2/2015]), meaning that it became a cycler. Now, when I was at the 3rd floor of my hostel, I've seen the lantern from the distance, dimming and brightening considerably non-stop, as the ignitor see that the lamp crashing, and prevent it from extingushing (Dimming), so the lamp lights on the ignitor pulses, until it cooled down (Brightening). After the lantern finally went out, it was never turned on again.
