I don't know some things could have been manufactured In romania, but i cant tell

New lighting technologies is a pity fest everywhere you look. From LEDs that last only for two months, to a never-ending global starvation of t8 fluorescent tubes.
We shall reinforce ourselves with good old full mercury t12s and HIDs made to surpass one's life, and give them all the middle finger ;

Uh, tell me about it. Chinese (...) is now shittiest that ever was. Two months ago I bought four chinese 15 watt led lamps for my new wall lights. They worked fine, were bright and didn't buzz with the high pitch transformer buzz that some chinese lamps emit. A week ago one lamp failed as I turned it on, there was a loud bang and black smoke for a second and then it was dead. Yesterday The second lamp did the same thing: band and a little shower of back smoke. Two are still working. I am so annoyed by this (...) show everywhere you look that my blood pressure is rising. I think I will make myself a fluorescent light from plywood and install a good old soviet 1970s f40t12 ballast, an indestructible soviet starter and a nice NOS 1980s soviet f40t12 lamp in it, and be set for 30 years until it will reach eol.

(if you don't het the frustration, read my new signature text below )
