This is a pulse-start metal halide lamp, have an internal Ferro-Electric Capacitor, which acts as an internal ignitor, meaning that this lamp is a direct retrofit for MV ballast. This lamp is for operation in vertical base-up position.
The great disadventage of this internal ignitor, is the 15-20 mins hot restrike time, compared to external ignitor pulse-start MH lamps, since the ignitor is connected to a bi-metal strip, which disconnects it when hot, meaning that the lamp can't start before this bi-metal connects the starter back, and the bi-metal in internal ignitors lamp, usually set to connect at way lower temperatures than the required for the arctube to restrike.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.
