The trashing of all fluorescent lights seems ridiculous. Perfect strips with nearly new lamps. What a shame. Everyone wants to justify that $30 LED bulb purchase by throwing out some perfect fluorescents? The top item is an aquarium 24" canopy. There were 3 single F30/T12 strips found (one shown) with 2 good lamps but all 3 had perfect ballasts. I already installed one in my garage under a long shelf. The bottom 13w GU24 CFL portatif is a BEAUTIFUL little item! It had the wire cut and after rewiring it, I was shocked that it was working perfectly.

Ooh, a 2x30 strip! That reminds me...I'd like to make a 2x30 industrial light.

I like my lamps thick, my ballasts heavy, and my fixtures tough.

I'm glad you've picked them from the trash, they look good as new to me- LEDS are causing a lot of strife to me, kicking out all of the good looking HID, fluoresant and incandescent Only ONE LED lantern I know has a great design (the Beta 5 design one) and the rest look uggggghhh.
