Sharing Plague

Sharing Plague

Shared bicycle and electric scooter in one shot. You unlock (and pay for the use) with your mobile.
The idea of sharing isn't bad at all, but there are too vague rules and you know people... They leave them everywhere they want and with a scooter going 25km/h (15.5mph) on the pavement (sidewalk) there is a relevant risk of injuries also for walking people.

It's been two years since Prague has banned Segways on many places because drunk tourists were pretty dangerous on them. At least 610 new "No Segways" signs were needed. And now we have electric scooters in their place.

They banned Segways and similar devices here, as well. Doesn't stop people using them, though

That's the truth

There are double yellow lines (meaning no parking at any time) along the kerbs in the lane around the back of our block. There are always people parked there, they rarely seem to get parking tickets. I think I might apply for a job
