Christmas came 9 months early for me today! Here's my latest eBay find, four 4-packs of 55 watt GE Misers. All 16 are in perfect condition after being shrink wrapped for nearly 22 years. NOS incandescents are the best!

Now those, are real light bulbs!

Amen to that! For energy savings, I'd choose these over today's modified spectrum halogens any day. These GE Misers are good quality and actually have better lumen efficacy than most contemporary halogen bulbs. They have sentimental value to me, too since I grew up in the 1990's and first became fascinated by anything lighting back then

Philips DuraMax and GE Miser forever!  Classic incandescents are the best incandescents! Stop the lamp bans!
