These lights are always neglected.

The only time I have ever seen a full parking lot lit up with these and well maintained would be back in 2008..... And that place is now long abandoned and fallen into disrepair

These usually only remain where some run down service station doesn’t have the money to remodel or operate/repair the lights. Places that have money got rid of these a long time ago.

I saw one anomaly: a used car dealership that had installed temporary lighting (because all the fluorescents were dead) went out of business, then a new used car dealership took ownership, had all the fluorescent lights fixed which was amazing, only to have them replaced a short while later with MH (probably after they realized how pricey the big VHOs were to run) and then LED.

I'm lampin...

Over here, the four lamp ones died out fairly quickly but some of the two lamp ones in parking lots stuck around until recently. I think there's a couple of parking lots around here that still have them maintained too. I think the remaining ones were all HO fluorescent too, VHO is fairly rare to find around here too.

There's a motel (I think) that has a few fixtures like these except they're still maintained, however, they were converted to F96T8.

Old lighting is, and will always be, the best lighting.

Looks like this one has the HO tubes with the outer glass tube for cold weather starting.

Preheat Fluorescents forever!
I love diesel engines, rural/farm life and vintage lighting!

Those are Westi tubes, so I would suspect this thing has been dead for quite some time.

The more you hate the LED movement, the stronger it becomes.

I betcha one or two of those tubes have intact filaments and would work if swapped into another fixture
