The first LEDs on a US Interstate, the I-35W Mississippi Bridge in 2008. At the time luminaires that could match the footcandles of 250 watt cobraheads didn't exist so they had to space the poles closer together. So far no failures.

these are trash they have them at ever gas station were i live and then start to turn this nasty deep green within a few months there garbage

Looks trash as well as trash itself really yuck, these LED streetlights for the USA market look so so so on the cheap side, they don't have the classic "American" look more like a badly built EU lantern or worse a cheap rip off Asian lantern

These have been going since 2008 without turning green or getting noticeably dimmer.

These use older power LEDs from before the surge of 'efficiency at any cost' design tweaks killed LED reliability.

Yeah we used to have a bunch of these on a small section of highway(m59) and a whole row failed got dim and most of the others greened out, they replaced them all with something else led

These aren't all that bright, but they have been going for almost 10 years and not a single failure which is pretty impressive. They have lots of low power diodes spread out on the large heatsink unlike newer LED lights and so they probably don't overheat as badly. When these were first installed, I had no idea what they were, all I knew is that they looked like robot heads...

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.
