Looks like as late as 1969 as these cars shown here.

The fluorescent tubes lasted until about 1982 when they were replaced by a bunch of standards HPS wall-packs, then the light pipe system was put in about 10 years ago. I very vaguely remember going through the tunnel with the fluorescents.
