Nice Form 109. These poles originally had Form 109s too, with ballasts on top. They're aluminum instead of steel though.

I haven't seen it at night. A pair of these were the main parking lot lights for an active bar so I presume they would maintain them.

Yes these are from the 50s and yes it would have a 400W MV lamp. It's rare, but there is a slight chance it could have a 250W MV in it. Ballast can looks 400W-sized though.
