Got this on clearance for a $1 at Walmart. It really makes things glow to! My shirt was glowing when I put this bulb in to see it in operation.

Nice!

Coincidentally, Lowe's cleared out their GE F40T12BLB's for $1.98/tube at apparently the same time as WalMart put these on clearance.

That's all folks.....

Why there is uneven brightness in the lamp? This don't happens with BL and white lamps.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

So I didn't pay much attention to any other lighting products, but I did notice the other T12 GE bulbs next to the BLB's were marked down to a buck-something also.
If you have a Lowe's in your area, or a similar hardware store, check to see if they are clearing out remaining GE T12 lamps.

Since I bought a case of BLB's, the Lowe's stocking label was still on the case, those BLB's had been sitting on their shelf since 2012.

That is the camera causing that appearance because it doesnt handle UV as nicely as regular light.

Nice lamps. The Lowes in Canada clearanced their BLB lamps a few years ago for 89 cents ea.

I might have check Lowes and/or Walmart sometime.
But for the most part I'm trying to avoid going to stores (both to stay away, and since I'm not working)

I've had BLB's start out "dim in the center" .. once they warm up, just like a 'normal' lamp it goes away

Exactly, Its the camera doing that effect, because like @Lightingguy1994 said. Keep in mind, its a UVA tube.
