35w SOX on traditional Magnetic Ballast

The known lamp current is 0.6 Amps for the 55w & 35w SOX lamps, but 0.45 Amps for the 26w SOX-E (on electronic gear?). Don't know for a 36w SOX-E lamp (the 55w replacement).

I measured between 0.56 and 0.58 for Philips 35w and 55w lamps and 0.59 for the SOX-E 26w lamp with a magnetic ballast.

Right off, we know that the Fulham Workhorse 3 ballast, which has a max current output of 0.56, is inadequate to run these lamps, or running at maximum output.

According to Lamptech the current for a Philips PSG 36W SOX-E is 0.35A.
