You mean Kohl's? Yeah the one near me uses all 3500K Sylvania energy-saving lamps. Interesting that this is a GE and a cool white. They do have some 3ft T8s under the shelves at my store though. In the summer, the lamps in the fixtures near the AC vents end up striating since the cold air blowing on the lamps makes them too cold to operate properly lol. I hate energy-saving lamps. If three full-wattage lamps on a low ballast factor ballast is too bright, install a two-lamp fixture with either a normal or high ballast factor in its place. There is no need for energy-saving tubes. They're garbage.

yeah i have tried to get the 32W lamps ordered for routed service but they will only get the F032/835/XP/SS/ECO now many stores have been getting retrofits to 2 lamp LBF or LED many of the track lights have failures and since they are warranty coprate sits on it and nothing gets fixed..very frustrating filling out paperwork for them and nobody does anything

Hahaha I'm ment kohl's I couldn't think how to spell that it's so fancy I was long gone before I posted this. It tucked, hidden in the middle part of the display shelving on the walls. it's my only favorite in the store cw with dark ends the main fo28t8 suck never warm up kinda dark in there. Although the 2x2 troffers have 32watt u bulbs those are pretty bright they should of used those thru the whole store.

Yeah I love those 18-cell 2X4 three-lamp parabolic troffers but the lamps are terrible. In the Votech building at my school we have some F28T8 Sylvania /841s and they SUCK. They're dim and flickery but unlike F34T12s, never seen to fully brighten up. The color beats F34T12 though lol.

Starcoat is the phosphor coating. Ecolux means low mercury/

The GE ones are good though. The Sylvania one are the ones that suck. The ES name for Sylvania is SuperSaver and low mercury name is EcoLogic.

But I've seen issues with those econolux eol very early or severely mercury starved but they do make millions of them you bound to have defects.

Yeah I'm sure even Westinghouse had defective tubes back in the day. Back then they took the time to test their products before shipping them out though lol. Nowadays they probably don't test them all before they're packaged and shipped out. Probably just a few random ones from each batch at best.

Wow how wasteful! I wish I had access to a recycling facility like that where they let you take bulbs.
