Updated shop lights

Updated shop lights

I finally got my shop lights the way I wanted them. I'm running 4 f96pg17 hanging TURRETS on the sides on 1- 20 amp circuit, then my 4 new f96t12HO TURRETS in the middle going opposite direction mounted on ceiling and 1 f48t12HO TURRET on the center beam above tool boxes along with a F96T12HO vapor fixture outside on another 20 amp circuit. Then I have 2- f90t17 full 90 wattage on one and 84 wattage on the other 1 f96t12 slimline on opposite side of beam in between garage doors 2 -f40t12 RS TURRETS as close as I can get to garage doors on both doors and a f100t12 strip I made with a built in switch so its optional on the original existing 15 amp circuit. I'd say I'm good with light? I'm on the fence to make the new f96 TURRETS vho but I want to use up some my HO bulbs too so 4 and 4 is a good mix I think here.

Well would you look at that... I was the first to comment! Awesome set up man. Satisfying as well! If it were me though (and it's not)
I'd make everything HO, and VHO Rapid Start lol... heck, man I'd go as far to say, I'd make everything VHO Rapid Start if I had the ability.
But I don't. But this is awesome enough anyways. Old school, and very reliable.

Nice. You have added more since I was over there. You still need more lights.

I think you could still fit more in there. I thought my shop was over-lit, but it's a 7' ceiling and F40s.

Thx for the comments! I thought hard, all vho or split it up or a little bit of everything. I do think all vho is a possibly because they start better than HO when cold I might still switch them eventually. Besides I think pgs would look better and yes its getting noisy in there but quiets down when warmed up. It's also brighter than a doctor's office pure cool white

T12/ t17 there's a reason they made heavy magnetic ballasts

Nice! Personally, I like a mismatched variety of different types of lamps. A creative layout keeps it interesting.

I live in Michigan and found that PG's can stay dim in cold but T12 /HO or VHO are fine.

You know don you are completely right it's good to have all different types. I'm just keeping this the same. Plus powergroove seem to be dimmer in the winter. I occasionally put t12 in the winter for maximum brightness.
