I think this is a probe-start MH lamp for use with an American M59 ANSI ballast or mercury choke ballast + 750V ignitor. It is intended for horizontal or vertical base-up operation.

I"m don't speak English well, and rely on online translating to write in this site.
Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the European date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

I lives in Israel, which is a 230-240V, 50hz country.

It is a probe start, universal burning position. The light that this globe is in has an ignitor because it was designed for pulse start lamps but probe works anyway.

Anything BUT LED!

What's the coating for?
To improve color or to reduce the harsh light

The coating is to convert the UV light into visible light although there is visible light without the coating there is still some UV light.

The coating is of a Yttrium Vanadate phosphor, which adds more red light to the spectrum of the mercury-sodium-scandium in the lamp.
