T12/ t17 there's a reason they made heavy magnetic ballasts

Im thinking late 40s to early to mid 50s vintage,
They usually stamp the date on the back of the ballast , Only problem is You will be disturbing fragile wires in order to find out, You DONT want to disturb those wires,

Hopefully another L&G member will chime in for You as I’m kinda curious myself πŸ‘.

I unbolted the ballast and looked the only stamp was J3? Not sure what that means but a sticker on the fixture it self said 56?
