If they were 800 MA they would flicker in the freezer. No flickering here 2 years ago they were all vho lamps but slowly they been changing them to 800 MAs probably they can't find f72t12vho lamps anymore, but I have what they need love to sell all those phillips 1500 MA lamps to them

T12/ t17 there's a reason they made heavy magnetic ballasts

I don't know if they can refit the light fixtures in those freezer here. My guess the owner doesn't have much money to overhaul with modern energy efficent freezer here

They can fit in 800mA's, the urrent will still be 1500mA and the sleeves melt the same

But hey, is it bad that they use T12s and Mercs ?

Yeah stupid I called them to see if they wanted to buy some my 1500ma'so but they call electrical contractors to change the light bulbs in the freezer, I think there doing a lousy job with wrong lamps
