Ex-Düsseldorf tram of the Düwag GT6 type from 1957 with series incandescent lighting

Old West German tram of the Düwag GT6 type, made in 1957 for the Rheinbahn Düsseldorf, later aquired by MPK Poznań, now used as a heritage tram. This tram employs series circuits of 14 bulbs in series (instead of 28 B22d bases there are 30 but those two just behind the cab aren't connected to series circuits), connected to catenary voltage 600V. Each bulb in the series circuit is designed for 42V voltage. Behind fixtures with milky glass are battery powered bulbs which turn on when catenary voltage drops to 0. Most bulbs are Spectrum bulbs made in China but some made in Hungary Tungsram bulbs also can be found.
