Sylvania 50w HPS (lit)

Sylvania 50w HPS (lit)

As requested, a picture of this lamp lit.
1st section shows just after ignition, 2nd is starting to warm, 3rd is good & hot (approx 1/2 hour running), 4th is right after being turned off.

As you can see I got the internals fairly straight with a fair number of thumps against the palm of my hand.

Quite nice seeing this little lamp fire up & come to brightness, when I originally thought it'd never have the chance of being used.

Glad it worked out.

Keep government out of the lighting industry.

I was hoping you'd keep it as it was, would have loved to see that wonky arc tube lit..!

It'll be all right in the end, and if it isn't all right, it isn't the end  Smiley

When I first saw it I figured there was no way it could be fixed (though I wondered if you had a really strong magnet what would happen ). Simply figured 48 cents on a bad lamp.

It would have been pretty funny to see that way off-center arc tube lit!

Colored Fluorescent's such as F40T12 Red or  Green or Blue are awesome...
