These very old rotary switches might be a century old. They are french and show either "marche" = "go" in french (on) or "arrĂȘt" = stop in French (off). They are still in function in a building that dates back to the XVI century.

Wow those are some old looking switches! There's a couple like this that my coworker removed from a mill building. They're in rough shape though.
