Most unusual E14 lamps

Most unusual E14 lamps

Click to view full size image

These most unusual E14 lamps buffle some experts for their exagerated wattage but they existed even in the range of the big players but - as far as I know - only in Greece. They do blacken quite fast but mostly burn out before that. The 1000 hours average life span can be put into doubt.

This is still a CFL- and LED-free zone!

As nearly all my fittings are quite old their quality is superior to what is available nowadays. But you can still get brass or porcelain lamp holders. The main problem in covered luminaires is the wiring. For that reason I use heat resistant cables in that case. I use the 60W - 100W candles only in open chandeliers and base down/candle up.

These are really neat! I had never seen a lamp made in Latvia, 75 and 100 watts for a candelabra base bulb, I know those are roasting hot

Philips DuraMax and GE Miser forever!  Classic incandescents are the best incandescents!
