Got this put up today. It's mounted about 7-8 feet off the ground and the arm it's mounted to (a cheap Regent arm) isn't very strong at all. It has a Feit 12w (1500 lumen) 5000K LED bulb in it. I'll see how well it lights the (tiny) area tonight.

That looks nice. The LED makes it look like a MH color.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Well crap, guess I'd better convert it then. I could try 50w mercury vapor since it's about the same in terms of light output as this LED bulb...

Just a little update, I replaced the FCO glass with an acrylic Lexalite refractor. Not what the M250R2 would have originally been sold with but it looks a lot better and lights a much larger area now. I might finally be able to get a pole put up (I would do a hinged pole setup most likely, and it would be at a height of 12ft most likely). The LED filament lamp I have in it looks very similar to a metal halide lamp especially through the refractor and I really like it. I just wish I could find a 4000k version instead of the 5000k that's in there now.
