This is the label in one of the new AEL 113s I got. Date says 8/1/91. August 1st, 1991 or January 8th? I also noticed it says Work center/15 on the label. What does this mean?

that's August 1, 1991. Mine is from 1990 and has different information printed on the label. The "workcenter 15" is just a factory code. Mine has a "-15" after the date so it looks like "9-21-90-15" which confused me at first lol. I see this has a dual-volt ballast!

Yep, it has a dual volt ballast. I thought it was dual wattage at first when I opened it. That would have been nice. Are the dual volt ballasts less common?

No, the dual volt ballasts are way more common than dual-watt. The dual wattage ballasts are quite rare. The standard dual-wattage ballasts they made were 100/175W MV, 100/150W HPS, 250/400W HPS, and I think a rare 70/100W HPS was made too (which makes more sense, as the 100/175W MV fixtures can be replaced with 70/100W HPS). They also apparently made some oddball ballasts like Don's 175/140-something watt MV ballast and I have a 100W HPS GE ballast that runs the lamp at either 70W or 90W.
