What experiment did you do?

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

Here's the story...

Years ago i found out if you hook up 2 pieces of graphite (the type that's commonly referred to as pencil lead) up to 120VAC, it will make an electrical arc. When messing around with it, i decided for some reason (can't remember what reason as this was years ago) i should put a C7 bulb in the spot where the arc will appear. So i do that and after letting the bulb cool down from that experiment, i went to check it and it had this hole melted through the glass.

And that's how i melted a hole into a C7 bulb.

Old lighting is, and will always be, the best lighting.
