I found this BRAND NEW in a storage room of my Grandmas house along with a newer GE cool white F15T8 and two daylight GE and Westinghouse F15T12s. The other three lamps are also brand new!

3Q 1943. The end cap is brass plated steel. Steel was used during the war due to brass shortage.

Score!!! Keep this baby safe! It has zinc beryllium phosphors, which can be VERY toxic if the lamp is broken (which is why they were later banned). We're talking gangrene in open wounds, etc. So keep this one safe!

I am actually not going to run this lamp much at all. I want to preserve this lamp as much as possible because it is REALLY old and very valuable!
