Bottom Pic is showing where the socket bracket will mount.

Yes, it is 70w PSMH (assuming if he doesn't want to overdrive the lamp lol).

Power provider: Southern California Edison (SCE)

-Date decoder of some US lamps 1960-present.
-Switch and receptacle collector.

He said there would be an ignitor in the other pic.

The ballast in the picture is a 100 watt PSMH ballast which I am using as a "template"

I'm hoping to obtain a 70 watt psmh ballast soon. I will install a toggle switch so I can disconnect the ignitor easily.

It will be a dual 100 watt MV/70w PSMH fixture. And it'll likely run mv alot more than MH. But I like to have a choice between the two.

Ok, gotcha! Hope you find one! It'd be great seeing this work again. Where are you going to mount the toggle switch? Or are you just going to let it "float"?

I'm still trying to figure that out.... I also want to put a fuse in there.... Maybe I will modify a ballast mounting bracket and drill a couple holes in it. Maybe put an LED indicator in too just for shits N giggles.

And yes I wanna get this working way better than it did originally...

It'll be the fancy version of a powerlight.

Also debating weather or not a cooling fan would be a good addition...

Also, why the 2 incandescent bulbs for the restrike lamp instead of just one?

Because it requires less engineering to put the dual socket assembly in then it does to try and put in a single socket.

Hey, if one burns out, you don't have to worry about it lol.

Put some high wattage LED lamps in there and have the restrike lamp be brighter than the HID.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

LOL that'd be ironic
I'm planning to use a couple 100 watt incandescent lamps in it just because adding LED's anywhere in this would make the HID a bit redundant... unless they're indicator LED's

The heat from hid/incandescent lamps would probably cook led bulbs.
