I thought about getting the 70W version of this because it's only $9.99 and I don't have any MH fixtures.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

E-conolight is practically giving these things away!

As for the ignitor being the only crappy component, I'm sure the ballast isn't that great either. Time would tell and you could perform some tests with a Kill-A-Watt. But the fixtures themselves seem decent. I have a 70W HPS 9" one from work, brand new. No idea what I'll ever do with it lol. I have an NOS 12" brown 70W PSMH canopy light by another brand from the Restore too.

I have not done a test with one of these MH fixtures in factory condition but i have done tests with some modded MH wallpacks (modded to MV) and they draw somewhere around 210w when left on for 30 minutes.

I bet the ignitor and capacitor will fail long before the ballast, but that's just my opinion.

Old lighting is, and will always be, the best lighting.

Anyone knows where i can get 8 pcs replacement bowls for those ? I saved some of the older version (from the 90s), i think the ones that were still made by Lithonia and not knockoffs. But the bowls are all cracked
