Finally got both the MV and PAR38 fixtures up and running simultaneously.

I swapped the Sylvania bulb out with a cheap (Abco) Westinghouse 100w MV, i might put the Sylvania bulb back because the (Abco) Westinghouse bulb is not a real /DX lamp.

I have some of those fake Westy lamps and they are all real /DX.

Any machine is a smoke machine if you operate it wrong enough.

Yep, the cheap ballast in it is basically a 100w MV ballast with a ignitor tap (as seen by this test).

Old lighting is, and will always be, the best lighting.
