Would I be correct at assuming the floods were converted to PSMH since there are 2 NEMA stickers on the flood on the right ?

Possible, especially since I saw the other flood and it has just a solid red 40 tag, so just MH I guess. Although, none of these fixtures look very old to me.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

I heard somewhere that GE's early PSMH NEMA tags were just solid white. I wonder if those floods have the original tags but they were later changed to the newer design.

Do PSMH M-400s have electronic ballasts or is that just for proprietary wattage lamps?

I like all kinds of lighting and electrical, especially HIDs and street lights!

Could be, since I don't know much about MH fixtures.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

GE did list a 400w electronic ballast for both probe and pulse start lamps but it is discontinued. Other than for grow lights, all the electronic HID ballasts are for lower wattage (150w and lower) lamps .

I have some of the 150w and under electronic HID ballasts. They were common in PSMH track lights and later PSMH recessed downlights. Never seen a 400w electronic HID ballast for general lighting. I think they made electronic ballasts in higher wattages for grow lights and aquarium use.

I'm currently running a 50w electronic PSHM ballast in the RAB Area Light JR on the back of my garage .
