I found a third American Electric 15-000 in my town on Google Streetview at a neighborhood. But this is 2012 shot, so who knows if it still there.

These were only 400W/H33 (MV), as far as I can remember. The lamp is well spent.

Yeah it's definitely well used. I imagine it was a dayburner for many years. I'll have to go by there sometime and see if this light is still there. I know of another 15-000 that had a new photocell put on it within the last few years (but it's brighter at night) so it's possible this is still in use.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Do you know how old American Electric 15-000 is? It looks older, but I can’t say I’ve ever seen one of these streetlights.

I was told on here they are early 60s. Actually there are 3 here now that I think of it, if this one is still up. I know at least two are still there, but one dayburns like this. One used to dayburn but now works fine.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.
