Soviet Tree Topper

Soviet Tree Topper

Click to view full size image

What do you top a Soviet Christmas tree with? A red star of course. This one uses five lamps in series. The sockets say in Latin characters "60 volt", and the bulbs are very underdriven so that's probably correct so they're driven at about 50 volts. The box says "Electrified tree tip STAR" (ЗВЕДА).
