Nice lamps!

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

I'll put my money on that they were produced in the 1960a and the early 1970s

Pretty, please no more Chinese failure.

Yup, the packaging of these bulbs gives an approximate time range by the price. I have several examples of this GE packaging and the pricing varies from $0.49 to $0.89. Also, if we look at the older GE catalogs, we can usually match these packages up to a certain time-frame of a few years before prices increased.

Merry Twinkle lamps were always my favorite. I have two D26 that are pink, have never seen the pink since.

Have never seen a package of 5 lamps, just the 4 pack red, blu, grn, yel. I wonder if the pink only came in sets?

This is still a CFL- and LED-free zone!

I got mine in boxes of 25 either 5 x 5 classic assorted colours (red, blue, amber, green, purple) or 25 of the same colour.

If you look at the pic right before this one, you'll see I have the 5 pack (slightly older) version also. The 5 pack ones came with the pink color that GE only made for a few years. I very rarely find a complete, intact NOS 5 pack version. They are far more rare than the GE pink ceramic/inside powdercoat bulbs.
