My Deco Lighting 40w LED Half Cylinder Wall Pack

My Deco Lighting 40w LED Half Cylinder Wall Pack

Click to view full size image

This is my Deco Lighting Co. Commercial Grade Half Cylinder Wall Pack. Puts out a neutral kelvin color and is very bright. I found this a few months ago new in a box at a thrift store for 15 dollars...the original paperwork was still in the packing list on the box and somebody originally bought it for about 300 something bucks as it is a commercial grade/fully gasketed fixture. I still prefer my mercury vapor fixtures for outdoor lighting on my property but I had to go LED on this one install on my house. I am posting this in response to alexd120's recent upload of his similar fixture in a different color but in the CFL varient. These are also previously available in HPS in both down and up light varieties.

Yes...I think based upon the address and location it was delivered to on the shipping label it was a fairly upscale neighborhood but for whatever reason it never was put up and then it sat for a few years and then got donated to Goodwill until I got my paws on it a few months ago.

Commercial grade fixtures are very expensive as they are built to last many years. I'm sure Georgialights will greatly benefit from the person who originally bought this fixture.

Unless the LEDs fail in the fixture, without proper ventilation to the heat sinks.

They have some fairly substantial heat fins on the back that help dissipate...I think the company warranties the commercial fixtures for 10 years...but yes it would be better if it were easy as a bulb change like the old days
