I ended up installing my GE snap switch (The one that I removed from my grandparents' house) and my Eagle duplex snap switch in my room. The GE snap switch controls the recessed lights. The top switch of the Eagle duplex switch controls the fan light and the bottom one controls the fan.

Cool! Will you eventually get a brown plate for these?

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

Definitely! This is just temporary (hopefully). I will either order a brown bakelite plate off of eBay or look at the ReStore for a brushed aluminum plate. I will probably do the former.

Update: This mess looks a lot better now. The wall has been spackled, repainted, and last week at the ReStore I found a brushed aluminum plate, which I installed that night.

The GE switch is interesting with the white lettering.

I have an ivory version of that Eagle duplex snap switch out in my storage building. Bottom controls the inside light and top controls the outside light.

I ended up getting an ivory Eagle duplex snap switch with a switch lot back in February and an ivory version of the GE snap switch from paintballer22 2 days ago. Can you post a picture of your ivory Eagle duplex snap switch?

Nice! It must be cool to have switches from your collection in use now.

I like all kinds of lighting and electrical, except LED.
- Vintage and rare lamp collector
- HID and incandescent lamp collector

Incandescent, fluorescent, and HID lamps forever!
Proudly suffering from Westinghouse Lifeguard disease!

It is really cool! I am thinking about replacing the GE snap switch with a Leviton mercury switch and the Eagle duplex snap switch with a Leviton duplex snap switch.
