Nice find! Does it have a marble pattern on the back?

No, the metal strap covers most of the brownish black plastic on the back. It has a very hard snap, so hard that I fear I might break it whenever I flip it.

No. Reason why I was asking you that because I recently got a NOS 240v Eagle single receptacle with box and it had it.

Is it a dryer plug or a twist lock plug?

I did notice some have a two letter code. Don't know what they mean.

Is it a dryer plug or a twist lock plug?

Dryer plug.

Where would the 2 letter code be? Does your duplex snap switch have the 2 letter code?

Regarding the 2 letter code, I just found it on the yoke near where it says UND.LAB.INC.LIST. The print is very small. Mine says K L. Do either of yours have the code?

Mine has D F. Don't know what it stands for. The ivory one does not have one.

Do these mean anything in GE's date coding system?

Late reply but I'm not sure if Eagle uses GE's dating system.

Also, can you take a picture of the box? I'm curious as to what it looks like.

KL is October 1975 in GE's date code chart.

That could be when this was made. It sounds reasonable. What does DF mean in GE's datecoding system?

April 1970.

That is also a plausible date of manufacture for one of these snap switches.
