Very nice! I still need to find a brown mercury switch. I found two at the ReStore but sadly when I got around to finally getting them, they were gone. |

Don't be fooLED, T8 IS the worst thing to do to a magnetic T12 fixture.

They were GE, a three-way and a single pole. |

The single pole did. The three way is like mine (spec grade). |

Glad you like the trade items! The ungrounded duplex should have come in a carton. It's NOS from my grandma's basement in the house they're selling. I saved it a few years back when I was asked to clean out the basement after my grandpa (my dad's dad) passed away in 2014. BTW, the lighted Cooper switch is only a few years old. It was bought new for a job my company did shortly before I was hired (the job was done in 2016/2017, so the switch is from that time frame, or slightly older).
The GE switch to the left came from my great-aunt's tool shed, the Leviton with the card came form Webster Electric, the Circle F came from my high school shop teacher (he removed it and others from a house he flipped into a rental), the H&H came from my grandma's living room in the house they're selling, the Cooper lighted switch is new/NOS from work, leftover from a job. The bi-pin sockets came out of a 4X F40T12/RS troffer in my grandpa's (mom's dad) basement. The ballasts wouldn't start reliably since the circuit is ungrounded and in the summer its humid in the basement. So I changed it to 4x F32T8. Owen (homebrewlamps) got the other four sockets. |

What company made the ballasts and what company made the troffer? The 2 prong outlet did come with a box. |

I don't think there are any markings on the troffer. I'd say Lithonia though since they all came from Home Depot, but that was back in the 1990s. IDK if they sold a different brand at that time. The ballasts are Universal Watt-Reducer 0.75A from May 1998 (same month and year I was born ). |

I saved 2 Advance ones from a troffer that had the exact same lampholders! They're better than Leviton lampholders because the Levitons don't grip the wires as tightly. Speaking of Leviton, the mercury switch is the loosest switch I ever felt! I want more! Are there any more at Webster? I might go there in November or over my high school's winter break. |

Does your shop teacher still remember you? Maybe you can visit and take the rest of those Circle F 3 way snap switches from that milk crate... |

Approximately how old is the Leviton mercury switch? |

No idea on the age of this mercury Leviton. My guess is 70s or 80s. If there is no zipcode with the address (if there's a full address on the back side; I forget if there is or not) then it's pre-1962, as that's about the time the zipcode system came out. |

Can you post a picture of the back of the Leviton mercury switch? Also as for the Movie Bar sockets and switches, the movie bar is stored away for right now. |

I ordered some 3 way brown Leviton mercury switches from eBay on Monday. I'll post pics when they arrive. |
