I have one of these. I have had it for at least 40 years, so I assume there aren't many about now!

Very unusual almost neckless bulb. I think mine has been hammered to E.O.L.

Nice to see the packet!

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

These are getting quite hard to find...at least the good ones that are worth collecting.

A man has two lives to live, and the second one begins when he realizes he only has one.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

At the ReStore, I saw 5 GTE era 250w Metalarcs, 2 or 3 GTE era 1000w Metalarcs, and others. I can get the 250w lamps, but can't get the 1000w lamps because I'm running out of space for now (have a small house).

Good quality things are awesome. Cheaply made things are not.

What about up in the roof....1Kw lamps don't weigh much. Or "skitch" another collector onto them... I know "Silverliner" Dave is only about 80Km away!

The roof I can't use... my parents won't let me... Yes I can pass them on to him or rlshieldjr (Rick) who lives closer to me.

That's a great idea...they are starting to get rare now, so us collectors have to work together to prevent the "plonkers" getting them and using them.

I have three BT-56's here...bloody big balloons...my house is small too, but these's nobody to stop me stuffing them up in the roof! In reality they will be going to the shipping container soon!
