Here is a refurbished streetlight lantern I installed about 16 years ago after taking down a same one with incandescent lamp. Nice to see that it is still in daily use after these years.

Looks like in Amsterdam and The Hague the same span wire lamps were installed in that time??

Not only the TB but also lanterns looks similar to the one on the picture. But those are long gone. Not preserved like in Switzerland.

However recently I saw that the ones I reinstalled on concrete poles in the south part of the city now have been replaced by LED streetlights maybe because of the danger of the spalling and falling concrete pieces. But in the old town they are kept alive maybe till the LED revolution takes place there as well.
